Manufacturers of various "topical" applications are not required to state the toxicity of the ingredients of their products.

Go to the Skin Deep Cosmetics website (listed below) and type in the name of your suntan lotion or sun blocker.

They provide a rating sytem between 1 and 8 of the overall product, and list all the "goodies" that are actually in it and what they can do to your body over time.

Caution: You may be REALLY upset at what you find about your favorite fancy expensive lotion.
